This is a wheel thrown bowl. It is glazed in a beautiful mottled blue, ranging from deeper navy to lighter sky blue, with some areas showing hints of brown or reddish-brown from the underlying clay or a different glaze application. Two decorative, loop-like handles give the bowl an elegant finishing touch.
The bowl also features a moon face, unglazed and showcasing the natural reddish-brown color and texture of the clay centrally located on the exterior of the bowl.
